I bought a couple of things from Lou’s blog sale over at ***Sprinkle of Glitter***. There are still some things left if you want to have a lookie! Plus have a read of her blog and watch her YouTube videos if you have a chance, she is really lovely and funny! I highly recommend having a look. :) I sat giggling at one of her videos this morning, I’m sure my neighbours heard and thought I had gone mad!
The parcel arrived this morning (morning post for a change :o, it normally doesn’t arrive till after 3pm at the earliest!). I was confused at first as the parcel rattled, however when I opened it, it had lots of cute hearts inside, soo sweet! :)
I bought (in order of the swatch) Glam Crystals in Va Va Voom, Topshop Lipstick in Vintage and Sleek Kajal eyeliner in Odyssey. I wanted to try all of these, but I never think to get them when I’m out in town. The Glam Crystals I love, I have an Eyeco glitter liner which is a simialr thing, but in silver. I like glitter gel liners as you can put it anywhere and blend it and have quite obvious glitter that sticks and lasts. I normally put it around the outside of my eye and blend down to my cheeks. It’s a bit 80′s glam, but I like that. :)
The Topshop lipstick I keep meaning to get, I like the pencil application. My local Topshop doesn’t have make up and online the postage is a bit steep, so it always puts me off getting anything. I really want to try one of the new felt tip pen lip stains, but the postal, gah! I like this colour though, it’s a much stronger finish them I thought, I thought it would be a bit more sheer. I really like it though, it isn’t all that drying and lasts ages when I paired it with Too faced Lip Insurance. I tried looking for a list of which Topshop stores have make up, but I had no luck finding any info. Does anyone else have any clue? Actually, don’t say, it’s an excuse to go on a London visit! :p
Lastly, the Sleek Kajal in purple. I love eyeliners, I wear them a lot and tend to avoid eyeshadows. I love my Naked palette, but it’s the only eyeshadow I wear. If I want to wear any colour, I stick the eyeliner on. I’m very into purple at the moment, it’s my winter colour. My hair is purple, my nails and make up are turning purple, all I need now is to dig out my purple winter boots! :D Here is a picture of my eye (apologies for the zero concealer, I hadn’t long been up when the parcel arrived and I just stuck the eyeliner on before I was even dressed, I couldn’t wait. :p) I really like it, it’s quite subtle, but this paired with some Dark Deed dabbed on my lips, I’m all ready for autumn/winter! Does everyone else change for winter? Or I am weird :P
